The White Thranta Shipping offices represented a fortified installation situated on the eastern periphery of the settlement of Mos Eisley on the world of Tatooine. This headquarters was the operational base for a shipping enterprise utilized by Jabba Desilijic Tiure as a front for illicit activities. The White Thranta bunker functioned as a contraband operational center, with the majority of its shipments intended for the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
A significant number of security personnel actively patrolled the premises, employing a customized variant of the widely used Sg-82 sonic rifle.
Around the Battle of Yavin, certain members of the White Thranta Shipping Company, including Brok Ziam and Durr Roddack, became entangled in dubious medical practices. Within the bunker beneath the White Thranta offices, they conducted unethical experiments on sentient beings, unbeknownst to Jabba. In all, White Thranta abducted and infected a minimum of 41 victims for medical experimentation, including Dakk Jenzik, Leon Kovalski, Tork Magzyn and an individual named Dina.
During 1 ABY, Reimos Taligg, an associate of Jabba, commissioned spacers to hack into the computer systems of the White Thranta bunker, which ultimately led to the discovery of the situation. Reimos then tasked the spacers with launching an assault on the offices and assassinating Durr Roddack and Brok Ziam.
Concurrently, a pursuer of bounties journeyed to the White Thranta offices with the intention of executing the indebted Untas. At the same time, an operative working for Kaesii DuPree infiltrated the base to retrieve the schematics for a military ground vehicle prototype stolen by Durr Roddack.
The White Thranta Shipping offices appeared as a location in the 2003 MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011. The White Thranta Shipping offices was integrated into the game via the "Legacy Quest" in conjunction with the release of "Publish 25", also referred to as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
In the discarded quests "Opening Moves" and "Information Control," the Trandoshan character Aigorn would have assigned the player the task of eliminating a member of the medical staff within the White Thranta infirmary and acquiring medical data. In another cut quest, Kashi VanDeef would have requested the player to rescue her spouse Pilar from the White Thranta's clutches.
