Untas existed as a Human male mercenary on the planet of Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Typically seen in Bounty Hunter Armor, Untas operated as a highly skilled Black Sun mercenary. Following the Battle of Yavin, he took up residence in Mos Eisley. He maintained a friendship with Sleash and had some level of acquaintance with both Oldksam and Taibela.
In the year 1 ABY, Untas found himself in debt to the crime lord Faeto. After Faeto issued a death mark against him, Untas, along with Oldksam and Sleash, went into hiding. Untas then became associated with the White Thranta Shipping Company, which served as a cover for the illicit operations of Jabba the Hutt's criminal organization.
However, Taibela remained in Mos Eisley, where a bounty hunter interrogated her. The bounty hunter successfully convinced her to reveal Oldksam's hiding place, and after locating him, he persuaded Oldksam to disclose Sleash's location. The bounty hunter then questioned Sleash, offering him his preferred spice. The drug-dependent Sleash, angered by Untas's decision to go into hiding without him, betrayed his former associate by revealing his location: the White Thranta Shipping offices situated outside Mos Eisley. The bounty hunter proceeded to infiltrate the bunker, ultimately finding Untas. After presenting Faeto's death mark to Untas, the bounty hunter carried out his assassination.
Untas appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment, and distributed by LucasArts. The game ceased operations on December 15, 2011. Untas was integrated into the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" in conjunction with the release of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
