E-10

Dezono Qua, a prosperous Human heir, owned the protocol droid E-10. This droid resided with Qua on the planet of Esseles. E-10, following Qua's commands, was responsible for preparing and cooking several young slaves that its master had purchased with the intention of consuming them. After E-10 prepared the Nosaurian child Resa Greenbark, its master commended the droid on the dish's quality. However, this turned out to be the droid's final culinary creation. Soon after the dish was completed, Resa's father, Bomo Greenbark, arrived at Qua's residence and destroyed E-10 after it declined to reveal Resa's fate to him.

Biography

In the year 19 BBY, E-10, a protocol droid, was the property of Dezono Qua, a Human male who was the sole inheritor of a wealthy family's fortune on his homeworld of Esseles. E-10 lived alongside its master in the Qua family's expansive villa, a secluded, fortress-like structure situated atop a mountain and defended by a small army of droids. During its service to Qua, the Human habitually bought enslaved children from a Chagrian slaver named Orso Meeto on the slave planet of Orvax IV. Qua would then have these children killed to be consumed, tasking E-10 with cooking them into meals, a task the droid performed with considerable skill.

Bomo Greenbark destroyed E-10.

Approximately a month after the inauguration of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Qua procured a female Nosaurian child named Resa Greenbark from Meeto. Following his usual practice, Qua instructed E-10 to prepare a meal using the child. After consuming her, Qua declared that the dish was among E-10's finest creations. As the droid expressed its gratitude for the compliment and offered dessert, a rumbling sound interrupted them. Realizing they were under attack, Qua fled, knocking the droid over in his haste to escape.

The villa was subjected to an attack by the crew of the Maka-Eekai L4000 transport Uhumele, which included the Nosaurian Bomo Greenbark, who had arrived in search of his daughter, the primary ingredient in E-10's latest dish. E-10 remained in the dining area as the crew battled their way through the villa's security droids, who were remotely disabled after a short time. With the villa secured, several crew members, including Greenbark, entered the dining room and found the droid. The Nosaurian questioned E-10 about his daughter's whereabouts, but when the droid stated that Qua would not want such information disclosed, Greenbark fatally shot E-10 in the head with a blaster, destroying it. Upon discovering Resa's fate, the crew also killed Qua.

Characteristics

E-10 was a bipedal protocol droid featuring golden-hued plating covering much of its frame. However, the rear of its head and a section of its waist lacked plating, exposing the internal machinery and wiring. The droid's head contained its internal mechanisms at the back, protected by a transparent covering. E-10 demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Dezono Qua, willingly fulfilling his requests to cook sentient children and, as seen with Resa Greenbark, refusing to divulge information about the deceased child's location when questioned. The droid possessed a reasonable level of culinary skill, consistently producing dishes that satisfied its master. During the attack on their home, E-10's primary concern was ensuring its master's safety, though it did not attempt to escape alongside him.
