Eldrak Korsin was a male admiral of the Human species who served in the Sith Empire's navy. His service occurred in the era preceding the Great Hyperspace War. A highly esteemed spacer, Korsin maintained a perfect record, never losing a single starship throughout his extensive service. He fathered two sons: Yaru and Devore. Yaru chose to follow in his father's footsteps by joining the Sith navy, while Devore pursued a career with the Sith mineralogical corps. Eldrak Korsin offered his full support to both of his sons in their respective endeavors. Eventually, Yaru distinguished himself and earned command of a Sith dreadnaught called the Omen, surpassing even his father, Admiral Korsin, and proving himself a capable captain. Ultimately, Yaru and Devore vanished, along with the Omen, following a crash-landing on an uncharted planet during a mining expedition.
Eldrak Korsin, a male Human, was an accomplished admiral who navigated the space as a member of the navy that belonged to the Sith Empire during the years leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. Korsin's family was descended from Tapani nobles, who became subjects of the Sith at some point. The Korsin clan proved to be valuable to their new overlords, contributing to commerce and industry, and also through intermarriage with the Empire's Dark Jedi. As a result, Korsin possessed Force-sensitivity, and he rose to prominence as a highly regarded spacer, maintaining a flawless record without ever losing a ship throughout his long service. During his naval service, he worked with his trusted helmsman, Boyle Marcom. He married Takara, and they had a son, Yaru, who learned the ropes from his father's example.
Without Korsin's knowledge, he had another son, Devore, who was born to a woman on a certain planet. Devore eventually sought out his father, and the Admiral welcomed him without hesitation. This revelation motivated Yaru to pursue a naval career more intensely, and he climbed through the ranks to become a captain. Yaru's first command was the newly commissioned Sith dreadnaught known as the Omen, securing the position over Admiral Korsin himself. Although he had never lost a ship for the Sith Lords, he had lost one to his son, an event that annoyed Korsin. As for Devore, a spice addiction ended his potential naval career, so Korsin supported his efforts to join the Sith mineralogical corps. In 5000 BBY, Yaru and Devore, on a Lignan mining expedition, disappeared along with the Omen and Korsin's former helmsman, Marcom. In truth, they crash-landed on an uncharted world named Kesh, where the surviving crew of the Omen went on to establish a Sith tribe. Korsin's grandchildren, his grandson Jariad and granddaughter Nida, would be raised on Kesh.
Korsin was an exceptionally dependable admiral for the Sith, never losing a single vessel throughout his entire service. He possessed a stocky build and ruddy complexion, traits that he passed on to his son Yaru. Korsin was a strong supporter of his children's ambitions, backing Yaru's naval aspirations and Devore's attempt to enter the Sith mineralogical corps. Furthermore, he readily accepted Devore into his life, despite not knowing of his existence beforehand. However, he was still quite proud and disliked losing command of the Omen to Yaru.
Korsin was initially mentioned in Lost Tribe of the Sith: Precipice, a 2009 eBook authored by John Jackson Miller. While Korsin's first name is absent in the original publication of Precipice, he is identified as Eldrak Korsin in the version of Precipice included in the 2012 compilation titled Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories.
