Electrorod

The Electrorod was a melee weapon that, instead of relying on blunt force, utilized electricity. A mere brush from the electrorod's charged tip could render a foe unconscious due to the high-voltage jolt it delivered.

History

Back in 3954 BBY, a female mercenary possessed a compact Electrorod. She employed it in combat facing the Sith Lord Scourge, not long before she met her death.

Behind the scenes

The electrorod made its initial appearance in The Old Republic: Revan, a novel penned by Drew Karpyshyn and released to the public on November 15, 2011.
