Emon Kref was a member of the Rebel Alliance forces, serving as a private and classified as a soldier. Kref participated in the Battle of Hoth, fighting against the forces of the Galactic Empire.
Emon Kref's origins trace back to the planet Koshaga. On this world, a prolonged conflict raged, with his father holding the rank of general within the Koshagan People's Movement. The arrival of the Galactic Empire and their military might led to the swift subjugation of the Lowlands, resulting in the capture of numerous individuals, including Kref's father. Approximately one week later, Kref encountered a recruiter from the Rebel forces and enlisted in the Alliance.
Eventually, Kref was stationed at the Rebellion's Echo Base located on Hoth. He was equipped with an A295 blaster rifle that suffered from a defective energy pack, prone to dislodging. Kref was compelled to improvise a repair, using cord and tape to secure the faulty component. During the Battle of Hoth, he followed directives issued by Sergeant Trey Callum, fought in conjunction with Andry Ked, and assisted Ked's evacuation on a transport after he sustained injuries.
