Andry Ked, a human from Alderaan, served as a soldier for the Rebel Alliance. During the Battle of Hoth against the forces of the Galactic Empire, Ked participated in the fighting and sustained injuries.
At the time of the Battle of Hoth, Andry Ked, being in his mid-forties, was regarded as one of the older members of the Rebel Alliance's infantrymen. His rifle's scope suffered from severe misalignment. During the Battle of Hoth, Ked followed the commands of Sergeant Trey Callum and fought in conjunction with Private Emon Kref. As the soldiers began to engage the advancing snowtroopers, they received instructions to pull back. Ked and the others retreated towards the South Ridge, but during their withdrawal, Ked was struck in the back by enemy fire, resulting in a wound. While Kref was aiding him, an All Terrain Armored Transport known as "Blizzard 1" drew near to them, but a T-47 airspeeder, piloted by Derek Klivian, collided with the walker, destroying it. Kref then assisted Ked in reaching a transport, where a medical droid determined that Ked would fully recuperate from his injuries.
