The T-47 airspeeder, which is also referred to as the T-47 light airspeeder, was a vehicle produced by Incom Corporation. The Rebel Alliance modified these into what became known as snowspeeders.

The T-47 airspeeder, which is also known as the T-47 light airspeeder, represented a specific type of low-altitude vehicle manufactured by Incom Corporation.
The Alliance snowspeeder, a compact, wedge-shaped vehicle, required a crew of two: a pilot and a tailgunner facing the rear. Its maximum speed was 1,100 kilometers per hour. It was equipped with two forward-facing heavy laser cannons and a harpoon cannon in the rear, operated by the tailgunner.
In 9 BBY, T-47s were initially used for sewage transport but were later utilized by the Hidden Path. During the rescue of Leia Organa by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Tala Durith, Sully Stark and Wade Resselian aided their escape from Fortress Inquisitorius by attacking the fortress's landing platform with their T-47s. However, Reva Sevander used the Force to hurl an explosive at Resselian's airspeeder, causing a fatal explosion.

During the Galactic Civil War, the Partisans possessed T-47s during their insurgency on Jedha. In the Battle of Hoth, Rebel Alliance snowspeeders employed tow cables to incapacitate All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) walkers. This was done by firing the cable, wrapping it around the walker's legs, thereby halting its movement and rendering it immobile. On one occasion, a trio of T-47s successfully attacked and crippled an AT-AT on Sullust.
The T-47 airspeeder was initially featured in the 1980 motion picture Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
