Emperor's Advisory Committee on Military Affairs

The Emperor's Advisory Committee on Military Affairs served as advisors to Emperor Palpatine concerning military matters in the era surrounding the Battle of Yavin.

Sometime prior to the events that unfolded at Yavin, this committee was presented with a comprehensive report. This document originated from leading officials within the Imperial Department of Military Research and concerned newly introduced specialized weaponry for the Imperial Military. This included technologies like cloaking fields, hyperspace pulsemass generators, magnetic bombards, orbital nightcloaks, visual electromagnetic intensifiers, and two-wave gravshock devices, alongside thorough explanations of their functionalities. A duplicate of this very report subsequently came into the possession of Major Arhul Hextrophon, who held the dual roles of Executive Secretary and Master Historian for the high command of the Rebel Alliance. Hextrophon then incorporated it, along with other replicated Imperial documents, into a unified report submitted to the Alliance High Command, including Alliance Supreme Commander Mon Mothma.
