Enfys Nest theme

A theme was created by John Powell for the 2018 Solo: A Star Wars Story anthology film, representing both Enfys Nest and the Cloud-Riders. This Solo theme was recorded in March of 2018 at Abbey Road Studios in London, utilizing a 98-member orchestra, along with the 36-member Vanya Moneva Bulgarian women's choir.

Powell mentioned that his goal in composing the theme involved incorporating a distinctive and unique sonic element to the film's soundtrack. He drew inspiration from John Williams' use of choral elements in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, aiming to establish a fresh choral sound while simultaneously paying homage to Williams' style. Aware that the orchestration would possess a forceful nature, Powell enlisted the Vanya Moneva Bulgarian choir due to their specific vocal qualities; they do not employ vibrato, thus contributing a "real aggression."

Within Solo: A Star Wars Story, the theme initially appears when Enfys Nest and her Cloud-Riders make their entrance at the train heist on Vandor to seize coaxium from Beckett's gang. Powell employed the Bulgarian choir to shift the musical tone, intending to startle the audience. Towards the film's conclusion, when Enfys Nest and her group are revealed as vigilantes assisting the innocent inhabitants of the galaxy and subsequently take control of the Savareen outpost, Powell once more utilizes the choir to alter the musical direction.
