The Valor-class cruiser known as the Enkindle served the Republic Navy throughout the Galactic War, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith Empire. After sustaining damage during an unsuccessful raid into enemy territory, the Enkindle sought refuge within the upper reaches of the atmosphere of Sarapin Four; however, before allied ships could reach it, Imperial forces located and annihilated the vessel.
