The Eriadu Authority represented a splinter faction from the Galactic Empire. It was primarily based within the Seswenna sector and on the planet of Eriadu, which was located in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy.
Following the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY during the Galactic Civil War, the Eriadu Authority was formed when it seceded from the Galactic Empire. Admiral Sander Delvardus, an autonomous warlord and a marriage relation to the Tarkin family, established it.
After being defeated by the New Republic, the Authority was initially centered on Eriadu, but was compelled to seek refuge on Kampe within the Deep Core. Delvardus was later executed at a conference on Tsoss Beacon alongside twelve other Imperial warlords as part of an effort to unify them by Admiral Natasi Daala. Command of the Eriadu Authority then transferred to Colonel Ivan Cronus, who subsequently pledged allegiance to Daala's United Warlord Fleets, a warlord alliance. However, following the disastrous Assault on Yavin 4, Daala ceded full command to Gilad Pellaeon of the Greater Maldrood, who then integrated the Eriadu Authority, along with other Imperial factions, into the Imperial Remnant.
The Seswenna sector and its capital, Eriadu, were loyal to the Authority. It also controlled other planets in the area, including Sluis Van, Sanrafsix, Kabal, and Clak'dor VII. The Rimma Trade Route also had numerous worlds under the Eriadu Authority's dominion, including Yag'Dhul.
