Esdo, a Rodian of the male persuasion, worked as an assistant to a senator on Coruscant throughout the Imperial Era. Subsequently, he found himself incarcerated within the walls of Ashmead's Lock prison, located on the world of Kashyyyk. While imprisoned, he was forcefully fitted with an inorganic biochip implant; this transformed him into an unwitting puppet controlled by Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax. During the year 5 ABY, Esdo's freedom was secured by a rebel group headed by Norra Wexley alongside Han Solo. Sometime after, Esdo participated in the attack on Chandrila, where he shot Commodore Kyrsta Agate in the face, only to be ultimately restrained by Norra.
