During the time of the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems sent a blockade along with a substantial number of ground forces to Felucia. These forces prevented the Galactic Republic from accessing the planet that served as the base of operations for the Commerce Guild, and also maintained command over the Perlemian Trade Route. This blockade precipitated the First Battle of Felucia, ultimately giving the Confederacy the win. The ships involved in the blockade included a minimum of four Munificent-class frigates; however, one of these ships was obliterated.
