Femi, a Twi'lek of the Rutian variety, was a female who existed during the era of the Great Galactic War in 3653 BBY. This war pitted the Galactic Republic against the newly arisen Sith Empire. She was stationed on Orbital Security Station Six, a satellite tasked with monitoring all traffic entering and exiting [Coruscant](/article/coruscant/legends], the capital of the Galactic Republic. Tragically, Femi perished in the initial attack during the Sacking of Coruscant by the Sith Empire. The Sith Lord Angral initiated the battle by ordering his flagship to open fire on the station, resulting in the deaths of Femi and her co-worker.
Femi, a female Rutian Twi'lek who lived in 3653 BBY, was stationed above [Coruscant](/article/coruscant-legends], the Galactic Republic's capital, aboard Orbital Security Station Six. Alongside a co-worker, she worked for Coruscant Security, observing traffic patterns around the planet. Before her demise, she reported to Coruscant Control that there was nothing in her vicinity, and had a brief conversation with the dispatcher, saying that she was going planetside as her rotation aboard the satellite was complete. Subsequently, she identified Sith vessels nearby and requested clearance codes from a flagship.
The unexpected arrival of the Sith Empire's fleet took Femi by surprise because the Republic and the Sith were engaged in peace talks on Alderaan to end the decades-long Great Galactic War, a conflict spanning the entire galaxy. Instead of providing the requested codes, Angral, a Sith Lord leading the Imperial assault, commanded his vessel to destroy the station, killing Femi and her partner. This act initiated the Sacking of Coruscant, a major battle. The war concluded with the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, which forced the Republic to abandon allies and cede numerous territories to the Sith, ultimately granting the Sith Empire victory.
Femi possessed blue skin, typical of her Twi'lek heritage, and striking blue eyes. Her role with the Coruscant Security Force involved regulating traffic in orbit around the planet, overseeing arrivals and departures. She seemed to find little enjoyment in her duties, expressing relief when her shift ended and she could return to the planet's surface.
The character of Femi was introduced in the initial installment of Star Wars: The Old Republic, Threat of Peace, a webcomic that served as a prequel to Star Wars: The Old Republic, a Massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by BioWare. This webcomic was the first arc in the series, titled "Treaty of Coruscant."
