Fermented kelp-ichor


The Crolutes, a sentient species indigenous to the Mid Rim world of Crul, enjoyed a unique foodstuff: fermented kelp-ichor. This dish was created by the concubines and younger wives of an alpha Crolute. Crolute clan leaders would then consume the fermented seaweed-ichor at the alpha's residence, within the immersion tank, where they would float on their backs while holding diplomatic and trade talks.

Production Notes

Star Wars: Aliens of the Galaxy, the 2016 sourcebook written by Jason Fry, included a reference to fermented kelp-ichor.
