Firefighting droids in action
Droids designed for firefighting, also known as firefighting droids, were droids built with the specific purpose of suppressing fires. Examples of firefighter droids include the Firefighter battle droids as well as the LC-24 fire droids. A wheeled model, which also possessed the ability to fly, was another variant. A group of firefighter droids were deployed to try and control wildfires occurring in 231 BBY. Firefighting droids were seen flying to extinguish the blaze within Port Haileap in 230 BBY. In 40 BBY, Halin Azucca caused a fire at a warehouse just outside of Pijal's capital city on Pijal; firefighter droids were sent to put out the flames.
