The Flame-Wielders were a group engaged in combat with the Jedi Order during the Battle of Nar Shaddaa. This battle transpired circa 68 BBY on the moon of Nar Shaddaa. Despite being immolated by these Flame-Wielders, Jedi Master Crucitorn demonstrated remarkable resilience, enduring the excruciating pain to continue his fight. Approximately around 68 BBY, the Flame-Wielders were referenced by Jedi Master Dooku to illustrate pain tolerance to his Padawan, Qui-Gon Jinn.
Subsequently, Dooku recounted his exchange with Jinn regarding this matter to his sister, Jenza, via a holo-letter. Around 23 BBY, Dooku entrusted several data disks, containing his messages to Jenza, to Asajj Ventress, his newly appointed Sith assassin, as part of her investigation to discover his sister's whereabouts; she then listened to the holo-disk referencing the Flame-Wielders.
The Flame-Wielders received a mention in a flashback sequence within the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, penned by Cavan Scott and released on April 30, 2019. The correct spelling of "Flame-Wielders" was officially confirmed through the audio drama's script release on October 1 of the same year.
