Forked River Mavericks

The Forked River Mavericks, a grav-ball team hailing from Lothal, were not known for their success. During the grav-ball season that occurred roughly six years prior to the Battle of Yavin, their performance was typically quite weak. Their record stood at a dismal 1 win and 8 losses when they went up against the AppSci SaberCats in the season's concluding game, just before the championship match. Their center striker's play was inconsistent, and their kicker was unable to kick the ball very far. Adding to their woes, they exhibited a lack of discipline; their coach constantly yelled at them, and during warm-ups, a significant portion of the team would either roam around or engage in conversations with the audience. The SaberCats secured an easy victory in the game, winning by a substantial thirty-two-point difference.
