Forward Visual One, or formally Forward Visual Triangulation Site Number One, denoted a specific forward visual triangulation site. This site was situated on the Chiss attack cruiser, the Springhawk, a vessel belonging to the Chiss Expansionary Fleet.
This particular forward visual triangulation site featured a curved viewport that stretched from the floor to the ceiling, illuminated by soft, subdued lighting. Positioned directly in front of the viewport was an extended, curving couch. Jorj Car'das, a Corellian smuggler, likened the space to a condensed version of an observation deck found on a starliner.

In the year 27 BBY, subsequent to the skirmish that occurred between Progga, a Hutt, and Picket Force Two of the Chiss Expansionary Fleet, the crew of the light freighter Bargain Hunter – specifically Human traders and smugglers Captain Dubrak Qennto, Maris Ferasi, and Jorj Car'das – were taken aboard the Chiss attack cruiser Springhawk and provided with temporary living accommodations. After a period of confinement within their assigned quarters, the Corellian smuggler Jorj Car'das received a message from an unidentified Chiss messenger. The messenger relayed that Force Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo, whose core name was "Thrawn," requested his presence in Forward Visual One, communicating in the Sy Bisti trade language.
As Car'das was being escorted to the designated room, he anticipated finding a crowded, technologically advanced space. However, he discovered a room resembling a smaller version of a starliner's observation gallery. Upon entering, Car'das was greeted by Thrawn, who had summoned him to question the smuggler about their true objectives, aiming to ascertain whether the group could be trusted. Car'das remained surprised by the existence of such a room on a warship. Thrawn then proceeded to explain the room's purpose and revealed its complete designation to Car'das.
The initial appearance of Forward Visual Triangulation Site Number One occurred in the 2006 novel titled Outbound Flight, authored by Timothy Zahn.
