During the era of the Galactic Civil War, there existed a male Rodian explorer named Frelka.
After the [Battle of Yavin](/article/battle_of_yavin-legends], Frelka, accompanied by his protocol droid, known as E-5KL, journeyed to the Bright Jewel system. Their base of operations was Tansarii Point Station, a space station from which they planned to explore Station Gamma, an asteroid base located in proximity. In the year 1 ABY, Frelka and E-5KL embarked on a mission to Station Gamma, hoping to find treasure; however, they discovered that the station was under the control of the Rak'qua, a hostile tribe of Nautolans. During his exploration, Frelka encountered a Rak'qua warrior, and after a brief conflict, Frelka was defeated. He fled the station in haste, returning to Tansarii, inadvertently leaving E-5KL behind. Upon his return to Tansarii, he sought solace in the local cantina, brooding over his loss. Later, Frelka encountered a spacer and requested their assistance in retrieving his droid from Station Gamma. This spacer then ventured to Station Gamma, where E-5KL recounted Frelka's defeat and implored the spacer to eliminate the Rak'qua named Aphotic, who had humiliated Frelka. The spacer fulfilled this request and returned to Frelka, informing him of Aphotic's demise and the safety of his droid. Despite his desire to keep his defeat a secret, Frelka reluctantly expressed his gratitude to the spacer.
Following his defeat at the hands of the Rak'qua, Frelka exhibited a surly and impolite demeanor, though this might not have been representative of his usual character. Furthermore, he displayed considerable ingratitude towards his droid, whom he threatened to scrap, indicating that he viewed E-5KL as mere property rather than a sentient being. It can be inferred that Frelka possessed limited combat skills, given that the Rak'qua who bested him was easily defeated by a relatively untrained spacer.
Frelka appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its servers shut down on December 15, 2011. Frelka's introduction to the game occurred as part of the "New Player Tutorial," which was implemented with the launch of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. He provided players with a single optional side mission.
