Friz Harammel

Friz Harammel, a city that floated, was situated on the gas giant known as Genarius. It holds the distinction of being the first successful urban center established on that planet. Around a dozen gas mining facilities, including Friz Harammel, were simultaneously erected across the galaxy. The unique gaseous composition of Genarius contributed to Friz Harammel's exceptional profitability.

Daedalus Gas Mines both constructed and possessed Friz Harammel. Initially, Daedalus's board members hesitated due to the Cularin system's unproven economic potential at that time. Several prior attempts to establish cities on Genarius had failed, with Nub Saar being a prominent example. However, the Daedala family remained determined and ultimately persuaded their investors to proceed with the venture. DGM's financial forecasts indicated that even modest yields would enable the company to achieve profitability, provided they could sustain gas extraction for at least a year. The investors, however, stipulated a substantial penalty for DGM should the project fail to meet expectations.

The plan for extracting resources from Genarius necessitated specialized vessels, namely AR-25 Bubbleship transports and VA-13 Sweepers. Friz Harammel not only endured its inaugural year but, to the astonishment of many, achieved remarkable financial success. Friz Harammel demonstrated the viability of floating cities on Genarius, prompting the construction of additional urban centers.

The Daedalas, a Twi'lek family, employed nearly a hundred Twi'lek engineers, including Hid Toqema, to work in the Friz Harammel gas mines, aligning with a cultural movement originating from Korbin.

Since Daedalus commenced operations, there has been an increase in the frequency of storms on Genarius. Concerns have arisen that the gas mines' extraction of stabilizing elements from Genarius's atmosphere may be contributing to these storms.
