Fury Station existed as a space station in the Deep Core region of the galaxy, orbiting the planet Furies Gate within the Tython system. This station included an observatory, allowing views of the Deep Core, along with sensor and communications technology. The crew of Fury Station, at least two sentient beings, represented the only life on Furies Gate. Constructed by Tython system settlers several millennia prior to 25,793 BBY, the year, it served for thousands of years as a departure point for Tythan sleeper ships venturing into the Deep Core.
By 25,793 BBY, Fury Station functioned as a scientific base under the strict control of the Settled Worlds of the Tython system, with the Human Gost in the role of station captain. That year, the station's sensors detected the approach of the Devourer—a starship belonging to the Infinite Empire. The Devourer then mysteriously disappeared from the station's sensors. Consequently, the Twi'lek Je'daii Ranger Hawk Ryo, present on the bridge, departed Fury Station in his starfighter to alert Tython to the situation.
Serving as a space station, Fury Station was positioned to orbit Furies Gate, the outermost planet of the Tython system situated in the Deep Core region of the galaxy. Its structure comprised a central rounded section from which four elongated modules extended perpendicularly, along with three additional long components extending from the lower part of the central module. The station included a command bridge, at least one starship hangar capable of accommodating a Hunter-class starfighter, and an observatory for viewing the Deep Core. Equipped with sensors to monitor space for incoming vessels, Fury Station also featured communications systems for sending messages to other worlds within the Tython system.
In the year 25,793 BBY, Fury Station was staffed by at least two individuals: the station captain and a sensor officer. That year, nine other individuals were present on the station's bridge. The crew wore gray-colored uniforms and were the only sentient inhabitants of the isolated world of Furies Gate.

Settlers from the Tython system built Fury Station several millennia before 25,793 BBY. Since its creation, the station served as a launch site for Tythan sleeper ships traveling into the Deep Core, though none of these ships ever returned to the star system. By 25,793 BBY, Fury Station functioned as a scientific outpost, governed by the Settled Worlds of the Tython system under strict treaty, with the Human Gost holding the position of captain.
That year, the Devourer—a vessel belonging to the Infinite Empire—approached Fury Station and was picked up by its sensors. The station's Sith sensor officer informed Gost about the approaching ship, suggesting it might be a returning Tythan sleeper ship. However, they both expressed concern over the vessel's lack of response to hails and the discrepancy between its sensor readings and those of known Tythan ships. Suddenly, the Devourer disappeared from the station's sensors, and Gost instructed the officer to alert the other worlds of the Tython system. The Twi'lek Je'daii Ranger Hawk Ryo, who was also on the bridge, then went to the station's hangar where his starfighter was located. Ryo sent a warning message to Je'daii Temple Master Ketu on Tython before departing the station in his fighter for the planet.
The initial mention of Fury Station occurred in Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi 0, a preview for the Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi comic books series. This issue, written by John Ostrander and illustrated by Jan Duursema, was released on February 1, 2012. The station's first in-universe appearance took place in the second issue of the series, published on March 21 of 2012.
