Gergillas represented a particular species that inhabited the planet known as Vadran.
These Gergillas were characterized as large and robust beings, displaying purple-brown skin complemented by a tan-colored underside. Their heads were notably large and oval, featuring purple tongues and a collection of sharp teeth. Eye coloration spanned from black to purple. They possessed substantial, powerful arms, each terminating in two fingers and a thumb. Their legs were similarly large, ending in feet with three toes each. A short, thick tail was also a defining feature.
Despite their capacity for formidable attacks against adversaries, Gergillas were generally amiable creatures. Their intelligence allowed them to comprehend instructions and navigate using maps. They exhibited versatility in locomotion, capable of walking upright on their legs or adopting a knuckle-walking gait. Furthermore, they could achieve considerable speeds when running on their knuckles. Their vocalizations included a notably loud moo.
On one occasion, the droids SF-R3 and CAM, belonging to the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts, experienced a crash landing of their ship on the planet. A Gergilla provided assistance to them during this incident.
Another Gergilla of note was Ayuu, who served as both a pet and a partner to Lens Kamo, a Cyborg treasure hunter.
As of 34 ABY, a beverage named in honor of this species, known as Gergilla Grog, was available at Seezelslak's Cantina situated within Black Spire Outpost on the planet.
