Once a vibrant center for both culture and trade, Gerrigon was a celestial body of significance. A devastating civil war erupted on Gerrigon during the time of the Republic Era. The Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order's inability to provide aid led to a massacre that claimed countless lives among its population. By the time of the Imperial Era, Gerrigon was still deserted, with the natural world having overtaken the cityscapes, although it did serve as a refuge for outlaws. The folklore said that the souls of those who perished lingered within the desolate structures. While the Inquisitorius was hunting the Jedi survivor Tensu Run, the Fifth Brother followed reports of Run's presence to Gerrigon, only to discover a hologram that the Jedi had left behind. Ultimately, Run came back to Gerrigon to face the Fifth Brother, defeating him in combat, but spared the Inquisitor's life so that he could spread the news that the Jedi still lived.
