Geysers represented a naturally occurring phenomenon where subterranean liquids erupted forcefully, shooting high into the air. One could observe geysers on locations like Florrum, where they ejected corrosive acid. The indigenous creatures known as skalders possessed an innate sensitivity to these geological events, and their activities were synchronized with the geyser's eruptive cycles. Jar Jar Binks, along with several clone troopers, exploited this connection while concealed within a geyser's recess. By carefully watching the skalders, they were able to anticipate when the geysers would erupt.
