The Glavis Ringworld, a space station, surrounded a diminutive star located within the Core Worlds. Its entire surface was perpetually illuminated by the star's rays. Artificial day and night were simulated by the sunlight flowing through the incomplete ring structure, where eclipse plates moved across its sun-facing side, creating a manufactured night. Despite possessing an atmosphere, the ring had sections exposed to the vacuum of space on both its inner and outer sides. A consistent artificial gravity was generated, directing itself towards the inner surface. Consequently, carelessness on the exterior maintenance walkways could lead to individuals plummeting from the ring's edge.
This ring-shaped world, with its unclosed loop, housed a city populated by diverse species. In the New Republic Era, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin journeyed to this station in search of the Tribe.
