Gola Chall was a covert resistance operative, a female agent who recruited individuals from within the Galactic Empire. She held the position of proctor at the Vensenor Flight Academy, which was situated on the Venator-class Star Destroyer named Vensenor. Having served as a recruitment agent at the Imperial Academy for numerous years, Chall had gained the complete confidence of Commandant Bythen Forral.
Chall frequently played a key role in enabling defections from the academy. She became particularly interested in a popular cadet who displayed the skills and potential to become a skilled starfighter ace.
