The Great Works represent a collection of initiatives spearheaded by Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh and the Galactic Republic throughout the High Republic Era. A significant undertaking within Soh's Great Works was the creation of the Starlight Beacon, an enormous space station built at the edge of the galaxy on the frontier. Soh also envisioned other Great Works, such as the Republic Fair, the establishment of communications relays across the galaxy, brokering a peace agreement between the Quarren and the Mon Calamari, successfully deciphering the process of bacta production, the Grand Renewal project on Kwenn, and various other advancements in technology.
