Greer was a Jedi Padawan from the Rodian species. He was a student at the Jedi academy located within the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant during the year 196 BBY, coinciding with the time that Roan Novachez was also in attendance. Despite their tense dynamic, Roan considered him a threat, albeit only at a 3 percent level. He was later compelled to collaborate on a project with Roan, as well as Cyrus, Cronah, and Jo-Ahn. In his third year, Roan Novachez would defeat him during the Jedi Labyrinth Trial, after which he graduated alongside his peers.
Greer possessed a diminutive stature and green skin with a mottled pattern. His attire consisted of the customary Jedi robes.
Greer exhibited a reserved and impartial demeanor, characteristics that resulted in him receiving the Yearbook Award for being the "hardest to understand." He demonstrated a moderate level of skill in lightsaber fencing, managing to briefly withstand Gaiana before being defeated in the Lightsaber Fencing Tournament.
