The Groundlion man-of-war, a warship of the man-of-war class, derived its name from the groundlion beast. These starships were utilized by the Chiss Defense Force of the Chiss Ascendancy. Sporting both a hyperdrive and engines, their dimensions mirrored those of a Shatter-class WarMaster warship belonging to the combative Grysk species. Circa 18 BBY, Admiral Dy'lothe of the Defense Force held command of the Groundlion named Venturous.
