Guavian Death Gang security soldier armor

Cybernetic armor, also referred to as Guavian Death Gang security soldier armor, was a type of high-impact armor employing cybernetics. It was utilized by Guavian security soldiers and consisted of several components: jointed gauntlets, pliable shin guards, ablative neck protection, a pouch for ammunition, and a utility belt worn over a red and black jumpsuit. This armor was specifically engineered for cybernetically augmented humans, and communication was facilitated through high-speed data transmissions emanating from a central sensor and broadcasting array located in the faceplate. A chemical regulator, positioned on the leg, functioned as an auxiliary heart, dispensing a proprietary blend of chemicals designed to amplify the wearer's velocity and ferocity. Wearing the cybernetic armor granted immunity to a blaster's stun setting and enabled survival in both a vacuum and underwater environments for a duration of up to ten minutes. A more robust version of this armor, providing enhanced protection, was worn by Guavian security soldiers who were equipped with micro-grenade launchers.

Behind the scenes

The initial appearance of Guavian Death Gang security soldier armor occurred in the 2015 motion picture Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. The armor's aesthetic was derived from preliminary artwork initially conceived for the "Jedi Killer," the figure who ultimately evolved into Kylo Ren.
