The Gundark Base functioned as a fortified shelter. It was situated a short distance to the north of the city of Narmle and could be found on Naboo's swamp moon called Rori during the Galactic Civil War era. The Gundark gang held control of this base.
After the Battle of Yavin, the Aqualish criminal figure Ponda Baba engaged some Gundark thugs and orchestrated multiple burglaries targeting cybernetic laboratories located on Rori. In 1 ABY, Lieutenant Orden Tarc from the Royal Naboo Security Forces gave a spacer the responsibility of questioning Gundark members at the base. The goal was to get one of them to divulge information related to Ponda Baba.
The Gundark Base appeared as a location within the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game titled Star Wars Galaxies. This was prior to the game's termination on December 15, 2011. The addition of the Gundark Base to the game occurred with the launch of "Game Update 12," which took place on August 10, 2009.
