Hale Malcolm
Hale Malcolm was a male Human who worked as a farmer on the desert planet Tatooine. He existed during the Cold War, a period of tension between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire which had returned to power.
Biography
During the year 3643 BBY, Hale resided in the settlement called Malcolm's Dunes along with other settlers. They received assistance from Jedi Master Eriz Vossan in defending their community from the attacks of the Sand People. However, when Malcolm, along with Zak Davies, Dahl Harris, and the rest of the farming settlers, gave Master Vossan the location of the Sand People's encampment, the Jedi Master was infected with a plague from Lord Vivicar and subsequently lost his sanity. As a result, he turned against Malcolm and the settlers, orchestrating an attack on their settlement by the Tusken warriors. Malcolm and his fellow settlers felt betrayed by Vossan's actions, until they encountered another Jedi, known as the Barsen'thor. Despite the initial hostility shown by Malcolm and the settlers towards the Knight, the Jedi Consular managed to persuade the farmers to reveal Vossan's whereabouts.
