Henrietya Antilles

Corellia Antilles, born Henrietya Antilles, was a Human female xenoarchaeologist, and a former student of the historian Bleys Harand. Possessing a doctorate, she largely served the New Republic. Specializing in the acquisition of hazardous artifacts, a pursuit often referred to as "treasure hunting," Dr. Antilles acted as the primary advisor to the New Republic concerning artifact retrieval. Furthermore, her exploits were chronicled in a popular series of holodramas.

Biography

Corellia Antilles

Henrietya Antilles received her education at several prestigious galactic universities, earning a doctorate in xenoarcheology and embarking on an impressive career within the field. By the peak of her professional life, she had logged thousands of hours on archaeological digs spanning from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim.

The Ash Worlds

Antilles, along with other students, was dispatched by Bleys Harand to the Ash Worlds situated in the Outer Rim Territories. From there, they reported evidence suggesting that these worlds had been subjected to fission attacks approximately 25 millennia prior. This revelation led Harand to theorize that the worlds were remnants of the Kiirium Reaches, which were believed to have been eradicated by the Hutts around that same period. Antilles later unearthed the Great Duinarbulon Mausoleum and dedicated herself to deciphering the texts discovered within, ultimately validating Harand's hypothesis. Furthermore, she discovered a map, subsequently known as the Antilles Map, which indicated that the world Wyndigal 2 was previously named Huronom, and the world OHS3842-03 was formerly known as Astigone.

The Ancient Khoz'zhak

Dr. Antilles once participated in a clandestine archaeological mission to Asation, a significant Gree port world that served as the gateway to the Gree Enclave. Her team aimed to locate the Khoz'zhak, an ancient Gree artifact of unknown purpose. Antilles and her team established their base of operations in Satikan, Asation's largest city and spaceport. From there, they ventured into a jungle, off-limits to non-Gree, to investigate a substantial ruin, supposedly the remains of a once-great city that had succumbed to an unspecified catastrophe. Deep within these overgrown ruins, they discovered the Khoz'zhak among a tribe of feral Gree. Antilles and her team seized the artifact and hastily retreated toward Satikan, but they were beset by both wild jungle creatures and hostile tribal Gree fiercely protective of their possession. To safeguard the artifact until its secure retrieval, Antilles concealed it within an abandoned Gree structure two days' journey from Satikan, and then proceeded alone toward the city. Compounding her difficulties, she was confronted by a Gree expedition from the planet Te Hasa, intent on either stealing the Khoz'zhak or abducting her to prevent foreigners from learning its location, forcing her to fight her way out.

Antilles eventually reached the outskirts of Satikan, collapsing, by chance, at the feet of a group of traders. They overheard her murmuring about "finding the Khoz'zhak" before she lost consciousness. After nursing her back to health, they listened to her story and agreed to retrieve the artifact from the ruins and smuggle it off-world in exchange for 7,500 credits. To facilitate their mission, Antilles shared her data map and notes on both the artifact and the feral Gree. She remained hidden aboard their ship for the majority of the time, while her new associates evaded the Te Hasan Gree, ferocious predators, and savage tribal Gree to reach the Khoz'zhak's hiding place, only to discover that it had collapsed in the interim. Retrieving it required them to delve into a perilous and unstable labyrinth of ancient Gree passages. Ultimately, they recovered the Khoz'zhak, but as the traders approached Satikan, the Te Hasans intercepted them and offered trade goods valued at 10,000 credits in exchange for the artifact, while simultaneously making it clear that they would not allow the traders to leave with it. Left with little choice, they accepted the deal and surrendered the Khoz'zhak to the Te Hasans. Antilles was left with nothing to show for her efforts, except her life, which was more than could be said for the rest of her survey team.

In 11 ABY, she gave a speech to the leaders of the Galactic Museum on Coruscant, where she had been assisting in the restoration of the collection after Imperial looting during the Imperial Mutiny.

The Prisoners of Delrian

When inmates performing forced labor at Mine Head 37 on Delrian overpowered their guards and seized control of the mine, possibly aided by corrupt members of the facility's staff, Dr. Antilles was among a group of specialized consultants enlisted by Delrian authorities to assist in resolving the situation. Joining her on this team were diverse individuals such as: the Kooroo mystic Xavar; metallurgist Dr. Allor Vybb from the University of Byblos; the director of the Museum of Galactic Cultures on Coruscant; and the chief enforcer of the security division of the Mining Guild. Furthermore, Antilles and the other consultants had to contend with the presence of numerous bounty hunter associations and mercenary units that arrived on Delrian either to offer their services in resolving the crisis or to take matters into their own hands.
