Herron was a male Human who held the rank of sergeant within the Republic Army. He participated in the Battle of Corellia against the Sith Empire in 3640 BBY. Herron, a sergeant, was stationed at the Blastfield Shipyards located on Corellia. He commanded a squad with the objective of retrieving several recently created shuttles from the facility belonging to the Rendili Vehicle Corporation. This operation occurred after Imperial troops had taken control of the factory. However, the mission failed due to inaccurate information regarding the size of the opposing forces. Herron then requested assistance from other Republic and Jedi personnel. These allies successfully infiltrated the factory and created an access tunnel, allowing Herron and his subordinate, Yung, to guide their unit into the facility and successfully acquire the shuttles.
