Hold 6 was a specific cargo compartment located on Freighter 2716, an Orca-class freighter. Within this hold was a substantial Kyber crystal, protected by DT-F16, a Death trooper, and her assigned squad.
During 1 BBY, DT-F16 and her team of Death troopers received the assignment of guarding a significant Kyber crystal that was stored inside Hold 6. Saw Gerrera, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Chopper infiltrated the ship, entered the cargo hold, and initiated an attack on the Death troopers present, causing them to fall back. DT-F16 came back with more troops, only to discover that the cargo was missing. The rebels had relocated to the engine room and initiated a self-destruct sequence. The explosion of the Kyber crystal resulted in the destruction of Hold 6, along with the complete annihilation of Freighter 2716.
