Hudi

Hudi, a Twi'lek scrapper, operated Hudi's Depot, a mechanic shop situated on the world of Yarrum in the High Republic Era. They possessed a GNK-series power droid referred to as DV. The pirate Clave Rollek, known for his deceptive nature, and Hudi shared a difficult association. When Jedi youngling Kai Brightstar's temporarily acquired starship, the Crimson Firehawk, suffered a malfunction, Brightstar, accompanied by fellow youngling Bren and Rollek, went to Hudi's Depot to purchase a stabilizer coil. Without sufficient money, Rollek orchestrated a diversion and pilfered a stabilizer coil. Bren was taken by Rollek as he escaped, leaving Brightstar behind.

At first, Hudi thought Brightstar was complicit with Rollek; however, Brightstar was able to persuade them to allow him to retrieve the stolen coil. Subsequently, Hudi dispatched their droid DV to transport Brightstar to the Firehawk using a landspeeder. After Brightstar and Bren triumphed over Rollek and retrieved the stabilizer coil, Hudi, as a gesture of appreciation for their honorable actions, permitted the two younglings to retain the stabilizer coil.
