Hul Rapuung, a Warrior of the Yuuzhan Vong, was the sibling of Vua Rapuung. During the Yuuzhan Vong's occupation of Yavin 4, he was stationed there. It was on Yavin 4 that he encountered his brother, though he did not appear to display the typical disdain that high-caste Yuuzhan Vong had for the Shamed Ones. When Mezhan Kwaad declined to respond to Vua's inquiries, and Commander Tsaak Vootuh opted not to intervene, Hul challenged Kwaad, questioning if anyone doubted the gods' favor towards Vua. Following Kwaad's revelation that she had infected Vua with a virus and her subsequent death, Hul informed Vua that he had regained his status as a warrior and should eliminate Anakin Solo. Vua declined, instead using an amphistaff to stun Hul, before proceeding to slay numerous Yuuzhan Vong warriors prior to his own demise. According to certain legends surrounding the Jeedai heresy, Hul fought alongside the redeemed Vua, whereas other legends suggest that he, rather than Mezhan Kwaad, was the one who killed Vua.
