Husklf was a bartender of the male gender and Nimbanel species. He could be found working at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, a watering hole situated in the Mos Eisley spaceport located on the planet of Tatooine. During the year 0 BBY, Husklf was on duty in the private bar reserved for the cantina's proprietor, the Wookiee named Chalmun. It was then that a conflict erupted in the main bar area, involving the criminals Doctor Cornelius Evazan and Ponda Baba, along with Luke Skywalker, a local moisture farmer, and the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi. At the time, the Nimbanel wore a green tunic with brown trim, layered over tan-colored shirt and pants. Husklf's physical features included tan skin, brown [hair](/article/hair], and black eyes.
Within current Star Wars canon, Husklf received a mention in the reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, released in 2016. The character's appearance in that book was in material that was reprinted from the 2004 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy. This earlier book represented the characters initial mention in the Star Wars Legends continuity. The authorship of Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy is credited to James Luceno, accompanied by illustrations from Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen.
