Indobok Pirates

Initially, the Indobok Pirates did not engage in looting for enjoyment; their primary focus was cooking. Widely recognized as the most skilled cooks in their region, the group harbored aspirations of establishing a cantina. In an effort to move closer to realizing this ambition, they accepted an offer from Olag Greck to prepare a meal for a Hutt. Unbeknownst to Huba and his crew, Greck laced the roasted feejay with poison in a failed assassination attempt on the Hutt. Upon realizing that his scheme had backfired, Greck falsely accused the pirates of serving tainted feejay, thus persuading the Hutt to sentence them to labor in a crystal mine.

Several months later, the pirates managed to escape using a small ship, fleeing with bounties placed on their heads and their reputations tarnished. Driven by a strong desire to establish a cantina and achieve their long-held dream, the group turned to piracy, adopting the name Indobok Pirates.

Eventually, the pirates encountered the Tharen Wayfarer, a Kalarban vessel owned by the Pitareeze family. In hopes of seizing its valuable cargo, the pirates launched an assault using swoops and blasters, successfully capturing the ship, the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, and a Stenness pie, while leaving only a lifeboat for the remaining crew and passengers. Following the successful raid, the pirates returned to their hidden cave and celebrated with a generous supply of Elba-beer acquired from the ship's stores.

R2-D2 and C-3PO, now reluctantly working for the Indobok Pirates, prepared food for the crew as they celebrated their recent acquisition. However, most of the pirates consumed excessive amounts of beer and soon fell unconscious. Seeking to escape and rejoin the Pitareezes, C-3PO called upon R2-D2, and together they began to leave the cave. However, not all of the pirates were asleep, and Ripter, along with another pirate, intercepted the droids and challenged them to a vump-shugga race. To defend their honor, the two droids were tasked with retrieving the Captain's pendant from a mountain peak and returning it to Huba before their challenger, Ripter. The three raced towards the peak, the droids on one swoop and Ripter on another. Ripter quickly outpaced the droids to reach the pendant, but C-3PO managed to seize it from his grasp. Distracted by the droids' success, Ripter inadvertently flew into a group of vynocks and crashed into the rocks. Upon returning to the cave, C-3PO attempted to return the pendant to Huba, but the captain refused and threw it to the ground. By doing so, he unintentionally relinquished his captaincy, and Muptupp promptly initiated the election of a new captain. C-3PO declined the offer, and subsequently, R2-D2 received the Captain's pendant.

During the renewed celebration sparked by R2-D2's unexpected promotion, Olag Greck and Xob coerced the captured child, Nak Pitareeze, into leading them to the Indobok Pirates' concealed base. Greck compelled Nak to return to the pirates, then disrupted the celebration and aimed his blaster at Huba. At gunpoint, Huba explained that he was no longer in command of the pirates and that R2-D2 was now the acting captain. Confused by the change in leadership, Greck failed to notice the figure approaching him from behind until it was too late. Ripter, who was presumed to have perished in the vump-shugga race, returned just in time to regain control of the situation from Greck and rescue the pirates. Greck and Xob fled, and the pirates resumed their celebration once again. However, due to his programming, R2-D2 recognized that he was not suited to lead the plundering, thieving pirates. The astromech droid relinquished his command and, in exchange for the return of the Tharen Wayfarer, provided the cook-turned-pirates with his recipe for Stenniss pie.
