Lord Isamer, a Lasat male, held a leadership position within the criminal syndicate known as the Directorate. The Hutts sought him out with a proposition: to undermine the stability of the governing bodies on Eiram and E'ronoh. Isamer instigated a crisis by abducting the monarchs of both planets, imprisoning them on the lost moon situated between the two planets. A critical error occurred when Isamer's lieutenants mistakenly kidnapped Thandeka, the queen consort of Eiram, instead of Queen [Dima](/article/dima], the actual sovereign. In response to the escalating crisis, the Jedi Order dispatched a T-1 shuttle to the Eiram system. Isamer then instructed his lieutenants to exploit the communications array from Monarch Cassel of E'ronoh's destroyed starship to lure the Jedi to the moon. Upon their arrival, the Directorate, acting under Isamer's command, shot down the Jedi shuttle. However, after inspecting the wreckage, Isamer's subordinates reported finding only one Jedi's remains. This prompted Isamer to place his forces on high alert, suspecting the presence of additional Jedi. Unbeknownst to him, the caves housing his base possessed a concealed entrance, which the Jedi eventually used to launch a surprise attack. Rather than surrender, Isamer opened fire on the captive royals, forcing Jedi Master Laret Soveral to bisect him, resulting in his death. Tragically, Isamer's shots struck their mark, killing Monarch Cassel.
