The Eiram system, alternatively referred to as the Eiram-E'ronoh system, was a star system situated in the Outer Rim Territories on the edge of the Galactic Frontier. It was home to the twin planets known as Eiram and E'ronoh. Because the system contained a crucial hyperspace waypoint, the inhabitants of the two planets frequently vied for regional dominance, sometimes engaging in warfare. The moon Eirie, once affiliated with either Eiram or E'ronoh, eventually broke free from its original orbit and settled in the void of space separating the two planets. During the High Republic Era, a crisis erupted when the Directorate kidnapped the leaders of both Eiram and E'ronoh. Subsequently, twenty-five years later, the Starlight Beacon [space station](/article/space_station] was established within the Eiram system.
The Eiram system made its debut in the short story "Starlight: Part One: Go Together" penned by Charles Soule, which was featured in Star Wars Insider 199. In the excerpt from the first issue of Star Wars: The High Republic Volume 1 included in The High Republic Free Digital Sampler, the Beacon's location was described as the Starless Expanse, a designation that was later omitted from the finalized comic book.
