Ittummi, situated to the north of Chenachochan on Kashyyyk, was a location. Wookiee Berserkers inhabited this area and played a crucial role in helping Han Solo and Chewbacca obliterate the fortress of Moff Darcc.
On the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk stood Ittummi, a sophisticated city. The forest completely enveloped it. Within the city's boundaries were a Fortress, a Command center, prefab shelters, and military structures such as a troop center. A food processing center was positioned in a small offshoot located south of the city.
Not long after the Battle of Endor, an Elder governed the city, which boasted a sizable contingent of Berserkers.
During the conflict to liberate Kashyyyk from the clutches of the Galactic Empire, Han Solo and Chewbacca, both members of the New Republic, journeyed to Ittummi. Chewbacca, himself a Wookiee, engaged in negotiations with the Elder, ultimately securing the transfer of the Berserkers' command to Chewbacca's army. These Berserkers then played a pivotal role in the destruction of Moff Darcc's Palace, which was controlled by the Empire.
The strategy guide for the video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, released in 2001, provided the initial mention of Ittummi. The city was a location in a Chewbacca campaign mission, where gaining control of the Berserkers was presented as an optional objective. The mission, and therefore Ittummi, also features in the game's 2002 expansion, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns.
