The Jahilid Drift was a section of Wild Space. Within it were the planets Koltine and Pral.
Wild Space was the location of the Jahilid Drift. Koltine, Pral, as well as other planets, were found in this area of space. It is highly probable that the Jahilid system resided in or nearby this region.
A period exceeding a decade following the creation of the Galactic Empire, saw the Kaleesh Imperial commander Bentilais san Sk'ar spearhead an assault force aimed at the conquest of several planets situated along the Jahilid Drift, specifically including Pral and Koltine. Sk'ar's triumphs within the region resulted in an enhancement of his standing, even amongst the most speciesist Imperial flag officers.
The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, a reference book from 2008, initially identified the Jahilid Drift as an area within the Outer Rim Territories. However, The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, subsequently established that the Jahilid Drift was, in actuality, situated in Wild Space. Jason Fry, who co-authored The Essential Atlas, later verified during the development of the The Essential Atlas Online Companion that the Wild Space placement is the correct one.
