JAK Racing produced the J930 Dash-8 engine for Podracers. These engines were renowned because of their superior grip, a characteristic that proved beneficial when racing across diverse terrains. During the Boonta Eve Classic in 32 BBY, the Triffian racer Ebe E. Endocott piloted a JAK Racing Podracer. Furthermore, the Devlikk Podracer pilot named Raido also raced with Dash-8 engines in 22 BBY on the planet Mon Gazza.
