Jaspara, a Ryn of the male persuasion, possessed hair of a white hue and skin of a gray shade. During the Republic Era, he held the position of Baron Administrator for the space station called the Wheel. Furthermore, he was the proprietor of the Galactic Globetrotters, a shockball team that competed within Ashton Stadium, located on the third level of the station.
Due to Jaspara's strained relations with the Galactic Republic, the Jedi Order pledged to steer clear of the Wheel to maintain tranquility. When the Jedi, specifically Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, paid a visit to the Wheel in their pursuit of the Anomid criminal known as Grynask Sanberge at some time falling between 29 BBY and 22 BBY, they found it necessary to conceal their identities as mere tourists to prevent drawing the attention of Jaspara.
Jaspara's initial appearance was in Choose Your Destiny: An Obi-Wan & Anakin Adventure, a canon book published in 2019 as part of the Star Wars: Choose Your Destiny series, authored by Cavan Scott. Within one of the book's alternative, non-canon conclusions, Kenobi and Skywalker are apprehended and brought before Jaspara, who opts to detain them for a ransom.
