The Council of Seers functioned as a Jedi Council within the Jedi Order before the reign of the Galactic Emperor and Dark Lord of the Sith, known as Darth Krayt, and his Galactic Empire.
In the time frame just before the Sith–Imperial War, the Council of Seers was one of at least two Jedi Councils that were active. This war was later waged between Emperor Roan Fel's Imperial government and the Empire led by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Krayt.
The members of the Council foresaw that Jedi Master Kol Skywalker should be the one sent on a particular mission, instead of Nat Skywalker who might have otherwise been chosen. During this assignment, Skywalker encountered Morrigan Corde, an agent working for Imperial Intelligence, with whom he fell in love. This led to their engagement and the subsequent birth of their Force-sensitive child, Cade Skywalker.
The twenty-fourth issue of the Star Wars: Legacy comic book series, titled Loyalties, Part 2, includes a brief mention of the Jedi Council of Seers.
