Jep Gri
Captain Jep Gri was a follower of the Path of the Open Hand cult. During the Night of Sorrow, a battle that took place in 382 BBY on the planet Dalna, Gri participated in the conflict aboard a starship that targeted the Jedi vessel Lazuli. Subsequently, Gri's ship came across the Forward ReCon fighter G-2 as it departed from the surface of Dalna. Using comms, Gri communicated to the pilot of G-2, Princess Xiri A'lbaran from the planet E'ronoh, stating that she lacked authorization to operate the craft and demanded her identification. A'lbaran responded to Gri by declaring that she was commandeering the fighter because she and her husband, Prince Phan-tu Zenn of the planet Eiram, had been assaulted by the Path while in amicable dialogue with the religious group. Gri's ship proceeded to unleash fire upon the fighter, but A'lbaran managed to avoid the attack. The confrontation concluded with the Path's loss, leading to the cult's disbandment and the dispersal of its adherents.
