John Cygan, an American actor and voice artist, lived from 1954 to May 13, 2017. He voiced Dash Rendar in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance, and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, and Rand Talor in the latter. In the audio dramatizations of Dark Empire, Dark Empire II, and Empire's End, Cygan also lent his voice to Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, and Darth Vader. He further voiced Canderous Ordo/Mandalore the Preserver in both Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, as well as Ulic Qel-Droma in the audio dramatization of Dark Lords of the Sith. Beyond his Star Wars work, Cygan was also known for voicing Solidus Snake in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty by Hideo Kojima.
